Spotlight on December
December 2nd - Annual Holiday Songfest, 9:30-11:00am
Our Holiday Songfest will take place at Oakdale Emory United Methodist Church. Norbeck will be closed for the entire day. This is an annual tradition for Norbeck Montessori. The children have been practicing their songs and lines for months now and are eager to show off to all their friends and family. We ask that at least one adult family member attend the performance but encourage ALL family and friends to come!
NOTE: NORBECK IS CLOSED!
December 8th - Annual Drop and Shop, until 9:00pm
This night is intended to allow parents some free time during this hectic holiday season. Simply drop off your child and siblings and enjoy the night as you wish. Your child will be provided with entertainment and dinner and are welcome to come dressed in PJ's. Registration is required, please speak to your teacher for more information.
NOTE: This is only for ages 3-8.
December 15th - Gingerbread fun!
Run, run as fast as you can you can't catch me…I'm the Gingerbread Man (Girl/Boy). The kids will have fun as they get to make their own gingerbread people. The children will spend some time in the morning decorating their very own cookies to take home to you this day. Parent volunteers are not necessary – thank you!
December 26th-January 2nd - WINTER BREAK
Norbeck will be closed for winter vacation. Child care will be available Dec. 27, 28, 29 and 30 for children who have signed up for this service. Registration forms are attached and must be returned no later than Friday, Dec. 9th. Space is limited and available on a first come first serve basis. We will be closed for all children Dec. 26th and Jan. 2nd. Our regular program resumes Jan. 3rd at 7:00 a.m.

Kindergarten Round-up is a question and answer time for parents looking for information about about our Kindergarten/Big K program, beginning 2012-2013 school year. Snow date is January 26.
